What was your first cosplay and why?
Rouge from Ragnarok Online, because at the time I was obsessed with it.

What is your favourite cosplay?
To date would be Cagalli and Lizzy.

What was your least favourite cosplay?
Ichigo Momomiya [Tokyo Mew Mew]- the dress made me look fatter then I am.

How do you research for the cosplay before you make it?
I usually watch anime, or I see something online and think it is cute and go from there, though I generally end up watching the anime, playing the game or reading the manga it comes from.

Do you sew your cosplays yourself?
Yes and no. I can't sew from scratch but as long as I have somthing there I can alter it ok.

If so, how did you learn to sew? If not, do you plan to learn?
Self taught, also get mum to help at times lol

Do you make your own props?
Yes and no. Dad helps me out with some bits but I do most of everything else.

If so, how did you learn? If not, to you plan to learn?
Just experimented with what I could use and how to make it into what I needed.

Do you style your own wigs?
If not already styled, yes.

What other skills do you use to create your cosplays?
Nothing? lol

What skill has been most useful for making your cosplays?
Being able to alter commissioned cosplays where need be.

What is the hardest thing when making your cosplays?
Making it to sit right on my body as I am larger then all the characters I cosplay. So I don't wanna look too ridiculous.

What was the biggest screw up you have had making a cosplay?
Cutting arm sleeves too short and on a wonky angle.

How often do you injure yourself while making a cosplay?
I usually stab myself with a needle quit alot when pinning fabrics together to be sewing.

Give or take around $1000+

Depending on the fabric needed.

Brisnova/Mini Animania/Gencon OZ- Home
Manifest- Stayed with Zed
AVcon- Hotel across the road from the con.

What is your worst convention experience?
My skirt for Ichigo being too short, guys being able to see up it when I was on stage, guys asking me to pose in positions you could get a panty shot or major cleavage...And the Pedophile who thought I was 15 and kept rubbing his face in my breasts. Almost dying from Heat Stroke as both Sebastian and Grell.

Have you ever cosplayed with a partner or group?
I usually cosplay in a group, or with my Ashley <3

Do you try to stay in character?
For photos and on stage yes, otherwise I am myself.

Have you done fanservice at a convention (yaoi/yuri etc)?
Once lol

How do you react to cosplayers dressed as a character from the same anime/game etc?
I'm okay, I usually check out their costumes to see if it is better or worse then mine though LOL

Do you try to duplicate your characters expressions, walk, movements etc?
Not overlly

When crossplaying, do you try to act as much like the gender as possible?
No XD When I was Grell was just myself..and I clung to every Sebastian I could find. Love~

What was the funniest experience of acting in character?
When I was dressed as Tatl, I had seethrough belly dancer pants on and was walking down the street, the cops looked at me really strangely then one was all "Oh look, its a faerie belly dancer!!" It made me laugh.

What was your worst experience?
None that was too bad yet.

[Competition]

Do you compete in cosplay contests?
Usually yes, but the last year I havn't.

Won anything?
Just won best group award 2007 for our Kingdom hearts group. [The small on on Saturday..not the huge Sqenix one]

Do you prefer walk in's or skits?
As long as the skit is known well, I usually am ok with both.

How many friends have you made because of cosplay?
Yes Though I think most people hate me.

Yes.

Depends who it is with. Usually no.

Just starnge stares like I was some sorta lunatic.

Its fun, and I enjoy doing it.

How would you like cosplaying to change in the future?
Would love to try out for the WCS even though I know I won't get far, would be fun though

How do you want to grow as a cosplayer?
To be able to sew alot better, and when I have kids get them into it as a very early age LOL
