Okay lets try this again..the comp restarted when I was typing up this lol

AVcon [the belated report]

Thurday:
Dad dropped me off at the airport and left me once I found the gate number I needed, I was waiting for around an hour until my flight so I was stuffing around on the internet for a while, talking to people on MSN and Furcadia. The flight was kinda boring, nothing much to do, 2 1/2 hours later I was in Adelaide, Ash came and picked me up and we headed back to her place so she could grab her stuff for the weekend, then we headed back to the city to go to the hotel. That night we met up with a few people and went to Marion shopping centre where I bought a few clothing items and we got some dinner. We headed back to the hotel after freezing our arses off waiting for the bus.

Friday:
Friday we wondered around the city, went window shopping and we went to the pet stores They had such cute baby rabbits I wanted to take home, but I knew I wouldn’t be able to get the poor thing back to Brisbane lol. I also bot nommed on by a rat, damn thing. I knew there was a reason I didn’t like rats. We went to this cute little cupcake shop and it was so girly and the cupcakes were to die for, makes me wanna open my own lol! That night we went to the Convention Centre just across the road from the hotel, major convenience, to get our weekend pass and have a look around, we went out for dinner, then back to the hotel where myself and Ash watched Spongebob for a few hours before bed.

Saturday:
We got up a bit early and got ready, watched a bit of TV and got dressed, Ash went as Himura and I went as Mamori, both from Eyeshield 21, we did the school uniforms and it was a big mistakeon my behalf, I was so cold, and my skirt kept flying up when we were outside. We bought the AVcon hoodies and shirts and bits and pieces during the day. That afternoon we met up with Bryan and Lex and went back to the hotel to get changed into something alot more comfortable and warmer. We went out to the pancake house for dinner, it was goot to see Lex again seems I havn’t seen her since Manifest back in 2007! And of course Bryan lol.

Sunday:
same routine as Saturday morning, that day I went as Lizzy from Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler and it was alot warmer that costume, and it was SO girly. I never wear uber girly girl cosplays but it was a nice change, my back was sore bu the end of the day cause I kept it straight all day lol, damn you cosplays. Ash went as Michael from Angel Sanctuary, my short arse angel for the day <3 I did the tattoo of her cheek and neck for the day it came out alright..for eyeliner. We hung around mostly, went to Shin Tokyo in the city and whatnot, we waited until around 7.30-8pm to get after party badges but couldn’t be stuffed waiting any longer as we were starting to get very hungry, so we went to the hotel and got changed then went out for some dinner, we went to the shushi train like 20 mins before they were closing lol.

Monday:
Monday we slept in a bit, and got dressed after a while, we ended up going to the Adelaide Goal that day. It was very cold and rainy, so it kinda put a damper on the mood. The Gaol was kinda creepy, and we went through everything we could. I felt very uneasy in the gallows and the execution hall. We took alot of pics and something came up in 2 of my pictures. Ashleys images disappeared compeltly from her camera which was weird and her camera kept dying in certain areas. Mine turned on and off a few times which scared me lol. We also went to the art gallery and museum. There was some nice stairs in the museum that would of been good for a photoshoot for a Kuro cosplay. Next year though! We went to the casino that night for dinner and went on the 1 cent pokies, I dunno how people can do that constantly..we got bored after about half an hour and went down to the lake where theblack swans were, the followed us up along the pathway lol, I think they were expecting food. It continued to rain that whole night and we got a bit wet. Got back to the hotel into the warmth and settled down for the night, watching tv and such.

Tuesday:
Last day in Adelaide, we headed back to Ashleys place once we checked out of the hotel, and we hung out at her place for a bit. Then back off to the aiport we went, we hung around there and watched a bit of youtube when we ate lunch, watched Mitchell get his head shaved and it was funny to see the bidding war over it. Got on the plane and had another boring flight back home. Dad came and picked me up from the aiport and we got home, mum clung to me for like 5 minutes and wouldn’t let me go, I mean geeze I was only gone 5 days..imagine what its gonna be like once I leave home lol


But since getting home got back into the usual stuff, went back to work the enxt day and I wish I was till on holidays now lol. Been RPing with Hannah which has been good <3, and also wih Drew. Been planning next years cosplays with Ashley for Supanova, as I am no longer doing a Beelsut with Catty as she never gets back to me when ive asked questions about how we are gonna get them to look identical. But oh well, would rather get stuff organized with Ashley and know its gonna go through. We have a few plans so we just gotta pick which ones are definite when next year comes.

And that is it..for now, man I gotta update my journal more often.
